Chelsea are reportedly preparing to offer Gary Cahill a new four-year contract.

Chelsea are reportedly planning to tie defender Gary Cahill down to a new contract.

The 28-year-old has emerged as a number one choice in the first team since moving to Stamford Bridge from Bolton Wanderers in 2012.

According to The Express, the West London outfit are preparing to offer the England international a new four-year deal, which will place him as one of the top earners at the club on around £120,000 per week.

Cahill has three years remaining on his current contract.
