Chelsea prepare £50m bid for Ross Barkley?

Everton midfielder Ross Barkley is being lined up for a £50m move to Chelsea, according to reports.

Everton are bracing themselves for a £50m summer offer from Chelsea for England midfielder Ross Barkley, according to reports.

The 21-year-old broke into the Everton side last season and impressed with a series of fine performances, but has struggled for form this season, scoring just twice in 30 games.

However, Jose Mourinho is determined to bring Barkley to Stamford Bridge, and is preparing a £50m summer bid, reports The Metro.

Chelsea will apparently face competition for Barkley's signature from Manchester City.
