Chelsea hope that Petr Cech and Daniel Sturridge do not leave over the summer.

Chelsea have denied rumours that Petr Cech and Daniel Sturridge will leave the club in the summer.

Manager Andre Villas-Boas recently revealed that a number of players in his squad were unhappy with his plans.

Despite apparent unrest at Stamford Bridge, Cech and Sturridge are expected to stay into next season, according to the London Evening Standard.

Cech, whose contract ends at the end of next year, is waiting to open talks over an extended stay, while Sturridge's deal expires in 2014.
