Besiktas are mulling a move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba this summer should the Blues sign another forward, according to a report.

Besiktas have set their sights on a move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba, according to reports.

The striker has insisted that he is keen to remain with the Blues, despite a lack of playing time last season.

However, Chelsea's reported moves for Diego Costa and Ezequiel Lavezzi could push the Senegal international further down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

The Turkish side are ready to swoop for the former Newcastle United man should the Blues bolster their attacking options, reports the Daily Mail.

Ba scored eight goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for Jose Mourinho's side last season.
