Team News: Petr Cech, Kurt Zouma start for Chelsea

Kurt Zouma makes his first Premier League start for Chelsea ahead of their Premier League clash against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has no fresh injury concerns ahead of his side's Premier League clash against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

Kurt Zouma - who makes his first league start - and Petr Cech retain their place in the Blues' starting XI, which sees seven changes from their 3-0 FA Cup win against Watford last weekend.

Likewise, Newcastle have also made seven changes from their 1-0 defeat at Leicester City, with Tim Krul replacing Jak Alnwick in between the sticks after proving his fitness in a practice match on Thursday.

Meanwhile, leading goalscorer Papiss Cisse and midfielder Cheick Tiote are both on Africa Cup of Nations duty.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry, Azpilicueta, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Diego Costa
Subs: Courtois, Cahill, Filipe Luis, Mikel, Ramires, Remy, Drogba

Newcastle: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Dummett, Sissoko, Anita, Colback, Cabella, Perez, Gouffran
Subs: Woodman, Santon, Haidara, Ameobi, Vuckic, Armstrong, Riviere
