Preview: Chelsea vs. West Ham United

Sports Mole looks ahead to Wednesday's Premier League encounter between Chelsea and West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea can make it six consecutive wins in the Premier League on Wednesday when they entertain struggling West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are currently two points behind leaders Arsenal in the table following an impressive run both home and away.

Meanwhile, West Ham are in desperate need of the points as they battle against relegation.

The Hammers sit one point adrift of safety in the standings after six defeats from their last nine matches.

Chelsea romped to a comfortable 3-0 victory when the two teams met at Upton Park back in November.

Petr Cech, John Terry and Cesar Azpilicueta are expected to return for the hosts after the trio were rested for Sunday's win over Stoke City in the FA Cup. Fernando Torres remains sidelined with knee ligament damage.

West Ham are continuing to struggle with injuries for the match, but Guy Demel, Joey O'Brien and Winston Reid could all be back for manager Sam Allardyce.

New loan signings Antonio Nocerino and Marco Borriello may be named among the substitutes for the match in West London.
