Fernando Torres "out for weeks" with knee injury

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claims that Fernando Torres will be "out for weeks" due to knee ligament damage.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has claimed that Fernando Torres will be "out for weeks" with knee ligament damage.

The Spanish striker suffered the problem after coming off the bench during Sunday's 3-1 win over Manchester United in the Premier League.

Torres, who has scored eight goals in 23 games this season, is now expected to be sidelined until next month.

Sunday's victory saw Chelsea close the gap on leaders Arsenal to two points in the Premier League table.
