Tony Pulis: 'Jose Mourinho one of the best'

Crystal Palace's Tony Pulis says that Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers in world football.

Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has praised the ability of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, saying that he is one of the best managers in world football.

Pulis, who will welcome Mourinho's Chelsea to Selhurst Park on Saturday, said that he hopes to find out whether Mourinho is as polite after the game should his Palace side claim victory.

"For me Jose is one of the elite managers in the world," Sky Sports News quotes Pulis as saying. "If you look at his record he has managed the great teams and the great teams need to win and he does that for them. He doesn't just do it on home soil, but does that away as well.

"I met him after the game at Stamford Bridge and he's interesting. Whether you like him or dislike him for what he is, there is no doubting he is a top manager. The time I had with him was charming, but they had just beaten us. It would be nice to see on Saturday if he's charming."

Palace are currently out of the Premier League relegation zone by three points.
