Oscar: 'Didier Drogba is helping attacking players to improve'

Oscar claims that Didier Drogba is helping Chelsea's attacking players to improve in his second spell at the club.

Oscar has claimed that Didier Drogba is acting as a teacher to his Chelsea teammates this season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho hinted earlier this week that the Ivorian, who returned to Stamford Bridge for a second spell in the summer, could join the coaching staff when his contract expires, and Oscar believes that the striker is already doing his part to improve some players.

"Didier speaks before the game to all the attacking players. He wants to score every game. He wants to score and to help with the game," the Brazilian told reporters.

"I saw him playing on the TV when I was young, and we now play together. He speaks not just with me, but with all the attacking players. He's scored so many goals for Chelsea and now he's pushed so much the young players.

"He is a fantastic player and a fantastic person, and I am so happy he is a part of the team and I am learning a lot from his experience."

Chelsea will look to extend their unbeaten record when they travel to St James' Park to play Chelsea on Saturday.
