Jose Mourinho slams 'wasteful' Chelsea

Jose Mourinho berates Chelsea's lack of a killer instinct after only beating Swansea City 1-0 this afternoon.

Jose Mourinho has lamented Chelsea's lack of a killer instinct following their narrow 1-0 win over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge today.

Eden Hazard's first-half strike proved sufficient for the Blues to climb to second in the Premier League table, but the 50-year-old was left disillusioned with his side's profligacy in failing to secure victory by a wider margin.

He told Sky Sports News: "It is almost the same story as we had in previous matches - lots of chances, their goalkeeper did very well.

"We could not kill the game again. When you do not kill the game, you are always feeling the pressure.

"It is a game that if you score the second goal, the picture is completely different and you enjoy the game."

The West Londoners, who sit two points adrift of leaders Arsenal, host title rivals Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
