Chelsea will reportedly give David Luiz a chance to prove his fitness for the Champions League final by giving him 30 minutes against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

Chelsea defender David Luiz has reportedly been given the all-clear to return from injury against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

Luiz has missed the previous seven games with a hamstring injury but is aiming to play at least 30 minutes on Sunday to prove his fitness ahead of the Champions League final, according to The Sun.

The Brazilian defender said: "The Champions League final is my dream and I'd give my life to play. But I need to be 100% fit to play in Munich, not just 90%."

Chelsea are also sweating on the fitness of Gary Cahill ahead of the May 19 final but reports this week claim that the centre-back is nearing a return.
