John Terry "delighted" to see Chelsea get back on track

John Terry claims that Chelsea are now heading firmly in the right direction once more in the Premier League after ending their recent losing run on Saturday afternoon.

Chelsea skipper John Terry is confident that his side are heading in the right direction after returning to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Blues have endured a tumultuous opening few months to the campaign by losing seven of their first 12 league games, including three on the bounce prior to the international break.

However, a 1-0 victory over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon - sealed by Diego Costa's first goal in seven - was enough to move Chelsea back to within 12 points of a top-four spot.

"The performances have been there of late, just not the results," Terry is quoted as saying by The Sun. "I am delighted to get the three points on the board.

"You could see the relief and delight from the other players as well. It was a good performance and hopefully this is a step in the right direction for us."

Chelsea return to top-flight action next weekend when making the short trip to face Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
