Former Netherlands international criticises the managerial style of Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Former Netherlands international Johan Cruyff has claimed that current Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho "lost the dressing room" at Real Madrid.

Mourinho returned to Chelsea as head coach in the summer following a spell in the Spanish capital.

However, Cruyff has criticised the managerial style of the Portuguese and said that Mourinho is only interested in results rather than performances.

"It's the same old story," he told De Telegraaf.

"When things go well, it's down to him; if they don't, it's down to the players. [I think Mourinho] lost the dressing room at Real Madrid and it's possible the same thing is going to happen at Chelsea.

"The problem is simply that Mourinho always focuses squarely on the result. Everything else is secondary, even all the top players he has running around for him."

Cruyff has previously played and managed in Spain with Barcelona.
