Chelsea forward Diego Costa has revealed that he is pleased to be back with Spain.
Costa was part of the La Roja squad that failed to make it out of their group at the 2014 World Cup, while the striker's own performances were also called into question.
However, the Brazilian-born forward has vowed to put things right after being called up for the upcoming games against France and Macedonia.
"It's time I played well and scored," he told AS.
"What happened, happened and we have to move on. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. That's football. We have to look forward. With the team we had we could have gone far, maybe even won it, but we couldn't.
"I was looking forward to coming back; the last time didn't work out as I had hoped."
Costa has scored four Premier League goals in three games for Chelsea this season.
