Chelsea players 'concerned by Jose Mourinho's selection choices'

A number of senior Chelsea players are reportedly concerned by Jose Mourinho's team choices.

A handful of senior Chelsea players are reportedly concerned about Jose Mourinho's decisions regarding team selection.

The Portuguese coach opted against including Loic Remy, Oscar and Radamel Falcao in the travelling party for Tuesday's Champions League game against Porto, which ended in a 2-1 defeat.

The current Premier League champions have had a poor start to the season having lost four games in all competitions, and they find themselves 14th in the league table.

According to The Guardian, there is concern in the dressing room that Mourinho, who has been publicly critical of his team following poor results in the campaign, is scapegoating certain players.

The report adds that there is also worry surrounding John Terry's situation, as the club captain, who played every minute of league action last season, has started just once in the last five games, and that was in the Blues' 4-1 victory over Walsall in the Capital One Cup.

Chelsea are already eight points adrift of league leaders Manchester United.
