West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic: 'Chelsea slump is nothing major'

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is confident that Jose Mourinho will turn Chelsea's season around.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has calmed panic over Chelsea's season by insisting that Jose Mourinho will turn things around for the team.

The reigning Premier League champions have won just three of their nine top-flight games this season.

Despite their poor form, Bilic believes that the West London outfit will finish inside the top four, but is hoping that they do not get their season back on track against the Hammers on Saturday.

"You can easily say [Mourinho] is the best manager around," Bilic told reporters in today's press conference. "He's been doing it all his career, he's brilliant. He's Jose Mourinho.

"You lose a couple of games, and from their point of view drawing is like losing, and suddenly people say 'what happened to Chelsea?' but it's nothing big or major.

"If it was he would be the first to change it, but sometimes it's those invisible things you can't detect and you have to work hard to try to change it. Things will definitely change for them, we just hope it won't be against us. I see them finishing in the top four."

The Hammers are currently six points above Chelsea in the league table.
