Chelsea came from a goal down to beat NK Olimpija Lubljana 2-1 in Slovenia this afternoon.

Nik Kapun made the most of some sloppy defending to rifle home for the home side in the first half, before Diego Costa and Kurt Zouma scored their first Chelsea goals in the second.

Branislav Ivanovic had a third ruled out moments after Zouma's first, but the Blues held on to secure the win.

Good afternoon and welcome to Sports Mole's live commentary of Chelsea's clash with NK Olimpija Lubljana.

Team news is with us here, so let's get straight to that...

Chelsea: Delac; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Zouma, Luis; Matic, Fabregas; Salah, Boga, Brown; Costa

We're just waiting for confirmation of the Olimpija team. But the big news of course is debuts for Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas this afternoon. The pair arrived from Atletico Madrid and Barcelona respectively earlier this summer to the tune of around £62m. They will be expected to produce the good as Mourinho's men go for the title next term, so it is a great chance for Chelsea fans to see their new boys in action this afternoon.

Chelsea subs: Cech, Ivanovic, Ake, Terry, Christensen, Chalobah, Van Ginkel, Romeu, Baker, Swift, Solanke, Bamford, Torres

Kurt Zouma has been speaking about his adaptation to life at the club following his arrival. The young defender is expected to replace David Luiz, following the Brazilian's big-money move to Paris Saint-Germain, and the centre-back is looking forward to working alongside the likes of captain John Terry.

He told the club's official website: "I am very happy here. I have been made to feel very welcome by everyone. It's a new experience for me at Chelsea, working with a very good team and very good staff. Training is very technical, and sometimes it's very physical, too.

"That is really good for my progression as a player because I want to work hard and I need to learn off the great players we have here at Chelsea. John Terry, for example. He is such a good player. He is a leader. I am learning from him and all the other defenders here all the time in training and in matches. I am really enjoying working with them."

Didier Drogba is back with the Blues for the new season. The Ivorian powerhouse is unavailable to the side for today's game, but his one-year deal could prove to be an inspired piece of business from Mourinho this season.

As well as the likes of Diego Costa, Fabregas and Filipe Luis, Chelsea fans also get another chance to see the likes of Izzy Brown and Jeremie Boga in action this afternoon. The teenage pair have impressed during pre-season so far.

The two teams are out on the pitch, so kick off is just moments away here...

KICK OFF And we're off and running...

Olimpija: Seliga, Jovic, Mitrovic, Delamea, Darijan Matic, Kapun, Omladic, Rodic, Sporar, Valencic.

Gary Cahill concedes a free kick on the halfway line after jumping into the back of an Olimpija player. A high ball comes into the box but it is easily dealt with by Chelsea stopper Delac.

The home side seeing most the ball in the early going. Not much happening as of yet though, fairly quiet. You fancy this Chelsea team to emerge victorious today though, it is packed with quality.

The first shot of the game comes in from Kapun after some neat build-up play but he skews it wide from around 25 yards out. Meanwhile Diego Costa is almost released over the top but the Spain international had drifted offside.

A first real attack for the Blues is cut off after Cesar Azpilicueta's low cross is cleared. Diego Costa then gets outside the box but his powerful can only take the ball into the keeper's path.

Boga runs into trouble on the halfway line and he is dispossessed by Kapun. The attack eventually fizzles out though after Cahill covers inside the area. Delac gathers it with some Olimpija players claiming a back-pass. There's nothing doing though.

Diego Costa is already putting his weight around in a Blue shirt, and he has just clattered Olipimpija's Matic with some strong jumping. There'll be plenty more of that to come this season, I'm sure.

It's a wonderful run from Salah down the right and his cut-back is a good one, but it just evades Diego Costa. Better from the Egyptian winger though, he's had a quiet first 15 minutes or so.

Chelsea probed intently around the halfway line but Matic's attempt at releasing Filipe Luis down the left is a poor one as the Brazilian can't reach the pass before conceding the throw in. Still waiting for any real chance of note here.

Chelsea move through the gears with a quick counter and the ball over the top finds Brown who feeds Costa on the edge of the box vbut the forward can't jink his way past two challenges before the ball is cleared.

Nice movement from Salah to chest down Matic's clip over the top inside the box but he can't quite move to get the shot off. The corner comes in and Costa wins it but it's tame and easily gathered by Seliga.

First booking of the game goes to Aleksandar Rodic who concedes a free kick left around 30 yards out...

Zouma has the ball in the net but it won't count. Matic had drifted offside I think. It was a tidy finish from the centre-back though

CHANCE! Big save from Delac who keeps out a close-range header from Kapun, I think it was. Excellent stop from the goalkeeper. Kapun is down from the chance, I think he took a knock after the diving header.

Filipe Luis wins a corner after his cross was cleared by Matic...

CHANCE! Best chance so far for the visotrs as Gary Cahill hits it left-footed into the ground only to see it bounce just wide of the post.

Chelsea are starting to see a lot more of the ball and Bpga and Brown work it wel and it eventually reached the latter inside the area, but the teenager can't get over the shot and it goes over the bar.

Cesar Azpiliceuta goes in the book for tugging back Matic. Blatant, but you don't normally see yellow for that in these kind of games.

Salah almost gets in around the back after being put through inside the box, but it's alert goalkeeping to race from his line and deny the Chelsea winger.

GOAL! Olimpija 1-0 Chelsea (Nik Kapun)

Well, that's a goal out of almost nothing. Kapun leaps onto the ball ahead of Boga who was caught sleeping and the striker rattles it in at the near post. Good finish.

A speculative effort comes in from Salah after he receives it from a short cotner. It flies well wide, not a great effort.

HALF TIME: Olimpija Lubljana 1-0 Chelsea

Well, not a lot for Chelsea fans to shout about in that first half. No one has particularly stood out, and it's the Slovenian team who have the lead.

We've seen precious little of Cesc Fabregas this afternoon, and that could be all we see. Jose Mourinho could ring the changes, so we'll see if the Spain star stays on the field.

There has hardly been a chance for the visitors this afternoon. Gary Cahill's was undoubtedly the best. The England defender hit a left-footed effort just wide of the post from a corner kick. Diego Costa has looked lively, but he's been left to feed on scraps.

So we're about set for the second half here. Both teams are back out. Branislav Ivanovic is on the pitch. We'll try and get the full list of changes to you immediately.

Jeremie Boga makes way for Fernando Torres. Petr Cech will take over in goal and Ivanovic is on for Cesar Azpilicueta.

KICK OFF: We're up and running here.

It's sloppy play from Matic, and his ball is cut out as Nathan Ake is left out of position thanks to the poor ball. The shot from Kapun goes wide though.

Marco van Ginkel has come on for Izzy Brown, while Ake has replaced Luis.

Chelsea's malaise continues into the second half it seems. They've barely troubled the Olimpija defence so far.

Cech had to get that one right, and he did! He read a long ball over the top and met it with a header around 25 yards out. Good play from the goalkeeper.

GOAL! Olimpija 1-1 Chelsea (Diego Costs

And the new boys combine! Fabregas fed his international teammate with a well-weighted through ball and Costa did the rest, taking it past a defender before curling it into the top corner. Good finish.

CHANCE! Fernando Torres does well to get acorss his marker and get the header, but it is well held by the goalkeeper.

GOAL! Olimpija 1-2 Chelsea (Kurt Zouma)

GOAL! Olimpija 1-3 Chelsea (Branislav Ivanovic)

Two very similar goals. We'll start with Zouma's. The defender reacts quickest to turn home an effort when the goalkjeeper can only parry. The Ivanovic makes the most of further indecision in the area to poke home from all but three yards out. Excellent turnaround from Mourinho's men.

Ivacic comes on for Seliga in the Olimpija goal. It's been a bad few minutes for the goalkeeper and he has been swapped. Not sure if that was through injury or not.

Diego Costs comes off for Patrick Bamford.

Ivanovic's goal has been ruled out . It's still 2-1 to Chelsea. Bit of confusion following the strike, but the defender was penalised. Perhaps somewhat harshly by the looks of the replays.

Nathaniel Chalobah makes an appearance as Mohamed Salah is brought off.

CHANCE! It really should be 3-1. Torres has missed a gilt-edged chance there. Great work from Ake down the left and his cross was on a plate for the Spaniard, but he somehow contrived to miss it.

CHANCE! Ornladic tries to squeeze a shot in at the near post down the left, but Cech is equal to it and concedes the corner following a good stop.

Torres's miss looks worse the more you see it. Mourinho will not have been impressed seeing his striker spurn such a glorious chance, pre-season or not. Not a lot happening at the moment.

Patrick Bamford goes in the book for what can best be described as a striker's challenge out wide. A fair decision.

Torres goes in again and tries to flick it over a defender's head but he can't get on the end of it. He looked dejected after seeing that move fail to come off. We're going to have around three minutes of added time here.

The Chelsea fans are in full voice in Slovenia. They have certainly been pleased by seeing their side turn this match around this half.

FULL TIME: Olimpija Lubljana 1-2 Chelsea

Well, it wasn't a great first half for Chelsea, but they turned it around well in the second. Perhaps should've been 3-1, Ivanovic was unfortunate to see his goial ruled out, but Mourinho will have been happy to see Diego Costa get off the mark.

Well that's all from me. I hope you have enjoyed the commentary. Until next time, bye for now.
