Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho refuses to rule Pedro out of Arsenal clash

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho hints that Pedro could play against Arsenal on Saturday, despite suggestions that the Spaniard will miss out with injury.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that Pedro could play a part in Saturday's Premier League clash against Arsenal, despite initially claiming that the Spaniard was unlikely to feature.

The Portuguese coach poured doubt over Pedro's availability after he was left out of the Blues' 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League on Wednesday.

However, in this afternoon's press conference, Mourinho told reporters that he will "see what happens" with Pedro before making a final decision, but Willian will not be in the matchday squad.

"I select every player for the game because we have doubts," said Mourinho. "Willian is not even an option. Pedro, [Radamel] Falcao, Oscar - let's see what happens, let's see."

The defending Premier League champions have secured just one victory in five domestic matches this season.
