Half-Time Report: Napoli in control against Cesena

Napoli open up a 2-0 half-time lead away to Cesena in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi.

Napoli have moved into a commanding 2-0 half-time lead away to Cesena in tonight's Serie A clash at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi.

The hosts had two good chances to go in front during the early stages, but Franco Brienza and Hugo Almeida both had their headers kept out by Rafael Cabral.

Cesena were made to pay for those wasted opportunities on 29 minutes when Jose Callejon drilled a composed finish into the bottom corner to put Napoli ahead.

The away side doubled their advantage with four minutes left in the half as Gonzalo Higuain rounded the goalkeeper before slotting in to the empty net for his 12th goal of the season.
