Team News: James Forrest in for Celtic as Dundee United make three changes for Cup quarters

James Forrest replaces Stefan Johansen and Dundee United make three changes for their Scottish Cup quarter-final against Celtic.

Celtic play Dundee United for the third time in a row tonight, and are looking to keep their treble hopes alive.

The teams drew 1-1 in the Scottish Cup last week and Celtic triumphed 2-0 in the Scottish League Cup final on Sunday.

Celtic make one change to their Scottish League Cup-winning team. Sunday's man of the match Stefan Johansen misses out through suspension and is replaced by the scorer of the second goal James Forrest.

Adam Matthews was believed to be available after recovering from an ankle injury but failed to make the matchday squad.

United top scorer Nadir Ciftci returns to the starting lineup after suspension and replaces Mario Bilate. Captain Sean Dillon and Paul Dixon, meanwhile, miss out after seeing red in last week's Scottish Cup tie and are replaced by Blair Spittal and Chris Erskine.

Celtic: Gordon; Ambrose, Denayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Forrest, Commons, Stokes; Griffiths

Dundee United: Cierzniak; McGowan, Morris, Fojut, Butcher; Rankin, Spittal, Paton, Erskine, Dow; Ciftci
