Mehmet Dalman: 'Key players will remain at Cardiff City'

Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman insists that none of the club's key players will be allowed to leave the Championship outfit this summer.

Cardiff City chairman Mehmet Dalman has revealed that the club are yet to receive any "firm offers" for their players this summer.

Striker Joe Mason has been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Dalman has insisted that no-one considered key to Russell Slade's plans will be allowed to depart the Bluebirds before the start of the next campaign.

Dalman is quoted by Wales Online as saying: "We have not received a firm offer for any of our players yet.

"Those who are key to plans for the new season will be staying. Our target is to challenge for a top-six finish at least and we must have a squad capable of achieving that."

Cardiff finished in 11th place in the Championship last season.
