Team News: Paul Lambert makes two changes for Cardiff City game

Libor Kozak and Aleksandar Tonev return to the Aston Villa team to face Cardiff City.

Paul Lambert has made two changes to his Aston Villa team for the match against Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

Libor Kozak is given a start and he will provide support in attack for Christian Benteke, who has not scored since returning from a hip injury.

Forwards Gabriel Agbonlahor and Andreas Weimann both miss out due to injury, but Aleksandar Tonev does return to the starting lineup.

Cardiff manager Malky Mackay makes just one alteration to the team that beat Swansea City on Sunday, with Aron Gunnarsson replacing Jordon Mutch.

Villa: Guzan, Bacuna, Vlaar, Clark, Baker, El Ahmadi, Westwood, Sylla, Tonev, Benteke, Kozak

Cardiff: Marshall, Taylor, Caulker, Turner, Whittingham, Medel, Odemwingie, Gunnarsson, Cowie, Theophile-Catherine, Bellamy
