Malky Mackay delighted with Cardiff City's away form

Malky Mackay expresses his delight at Cardiff City's form away from home in the Premier League this season.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has praised his team for their away form this season.

The Bluebirds claimed a goalless draw against Stoke City at the Britannia on Wednesday evening, with Mackay delighted they were able to keep their fourth clean sheet of the campaign.

"We've come to another very tough place, been very resilient and been well worthy of a point," he told the club's official website.

"I think we managed to restrict Stoke to one attempt on target with a couple ourselves. It was a great save late on from their goalkeeper. I'm happy with my team and the way they played.

"Clean sheets are the basis for picking up points in this league and I'm delighted we picked up another one. That's Premier League points taken against four of the teams around us now – Hull, Fulham, Norwich and here at Stoke."

Cardiff visit Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
