Dani Guiza targets Real Madrid scalp

Cadiz striker Dani Guiza insists that his team will give Real Madrid a good game when the pair meet in the first leg of their last-32 Copa del Rey clash on Wednesday.

Cadiz striker Dani Guiza has warned Real Madrid that his team will be fired up for their Copa del Rey last-32 first leg on Wednesday.

Guiza, who was part of the Spain squad that won Euro 2008, has plenty of experience playing in the top flight of Spanish football.

Now with Cadiz, the 35-year-old has looked ahead to his team's Copa del Rey clash with Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has admitted that it will be tough for the Segunda B side to triumph over two legs, insists that his team 'will not surrender'.

"We are Cadiz and we won't surrender. We know Madrid are one of the biggest teams in the world but we have to fight," Guiza told Marca.

"If it was a one-off game, at El Carranza, we would have a lot of possibilities, but the Bernabeu is very complicated. We have done well in the cup though.

"My dream is to play every game and if I'm not I have to hope for minutes. You have to give everything whether you're experienced or not. We'd come out with a lot of confidence from a good game against Madrid."

Cadiz last played in La Liga in the 2005-06 season, but have been in the Segunda B since the 2010-11 campaign.
