Luke O'Neill joins York City on loan

Burnley defender Luke O'Neill will spent the rest of the month with League Two side York City on an emergency loan.

Burnley defender Luke O'Neill has moved to York City on a one-month emergency loan deal.

The 22-year-old, who is yet to make an appearance for the Clarets this season, joins Nigel Worthington's side until October 31.

O'Neill came through the Leicester City academy before joining Mansfield Town, ahead of his move to Burnley last summer.

The Minstermen, who currently sit 21st in League Two, play Torquay United tomorrow.
