Veteran defender Michael Duff today signed a new one-year contract with Burnley.

The 36-year-old centre-back extends his stay with the Clarets into an 11th year and will be hoping to have an impact in the Premier League after the club's promotion last season.

Duff is the only current player who remains from the club's last stint in the Premier League five years ago.

Last season he started 41 of the Clarets' 46 league games, scoring one goal.
