Burnley make bid for Jamie Paterson?

Burnley want to sign midfielder Jamie Paterson from Nottingham Forest, according to a report.

Burnley have reportedly launched a bid for Nottingham Forest midfielder Jamie Paterson.

The 23-year-old struggled for regular first-team action at the City Ground last season, which has led to speculation over his future.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been linked with Paterson, who has one year remaining on his contract.

The winger joined Forest from Walsall in 2013 and has gone on to score 13 goals in 64 appearances for the East Midlands outfit.

According to Sky Sports News, Burnley have tabled an undisclosed bid in the hope of luring Paterson from their Championship rivals.

Paterson made 25 appearances for Forest last term.
