Danny Ings: Win over Queens Park Rangers is "massive"

Burnley striker Danny Ings believes that his side earned a vital three points in their quest for Premier League survival with their 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.

Burnley striker Danny Ings feels that his side's 2-1 win over Queens Park Rangers is "massive" in their quest for Premier League survival.

The Clarets took the lead in the 12th minute through Scott Arfield, only to be pegged back from the penalty spot by former striker Charlie Austin.

However, Ings netted minutes later to restore Burnley's advantage, and they held out in the second half to secure the valuable three points at Turf Moor.

He told BBC Sport: "It's massive. It's our own mini-league down there, so it's important we pick up points in games like this.

"Our home form has always been good, so it's important that, against the teams around us, we turn up and give it our best. That's what we did today."

Sean Dyche's men moved out of the relegation zone and into 16th place in the table as a result of their win.
