Burnley boss Sean Dyche disappointed with Swansea City defeat

Burnley boss Sean Dyche concedes that he is disappointed with the manner of his side's narrow defeat to Swansea City at Turf Moor.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has admitted that he is bitterly disappointed by his side's 1-0 defeat to Swansea City at Turf Moor.

A bizarre own goal from Kieran Trippier decided the contest as the Clarets extended their winless run in the Premier League to six matches, which has increased Dyche's urgency for positive results.

He told the club's official website: "We are disappointed in the result and the goal because we've done a lot of work on that in the past few weeks.

"There wasn't much in the two teams, but we've had that too often and we know we have to start turning performances into wins."

Burnley are 18th in the Premier League table, but are only in the bottom three on goal difference.
