Ashley Barnes: 'Burnley not giving up on Premier League survival'

Ashley Barnes insists that Burnley will not give up on their fight to stay in the Premier League.

Burnley forward Ashley Barnes has insisted that the squad will not give up on their fight for Premier League survival.

The Clarets must win their three remaining games of the season if they want to stay in the top flight.

A 1-0 defeat to West Ham United on Saturday has left Sean Dyche's side eight points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table.

Barnes has assured fans that he and his teammates will 'give it their all' when they travel to fellow strugglers Hull City this weekend.

"As a group of players we need to step up to the mark. It's slipping out of our hands but we need to pull it back and win the next three now," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"We'll have to pick ourselves up for a massive game at Hull. It's going to be a massive uphill battle but it's one that we won't give up on yet. We'll have a good week in training and we'll give it our all."

Burnley have lost their last four games in a row in the Premier League.
