Kieran Trippier: 'Burnley will miss Danny Ings'

Kieran Trippier admits that losing striker Danny Ings in the summer will be a big loss for Burnley.

Kieran Trippier has conceded that Burnley will miss Danny Ings, with the striker likely to leave the club this summer.

Burnley's final Premier League game of the season at Turf Moor ended in a stalemate against Stoke City this afternoon.

After the match, Trippier told Sky Sports News that Burnley will suffer when they lose Ings, whose contract runs out in June.

He said: "It will be a massive loss. Obviously you don't want to lose your key players and everyone knows his contract is expiring but like Danny has said in the press he will give everything and that's what he has done.

"Hopefully, he can give us another few goals against Aston Villa."

Burnley's final match of the campaign will be away to Villa next Sunday.
