Sean Dyche not getting carried away by first Burnley win

Burnley boss Sean Dyche warns his players that the hard work is still to come following their win over Hull City.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has insisted that he will not get carried away by his team's win over Hull City.

The Clarets picked up their first victory of the season on Saturday as an Ashley Barnes goal separated the sides at Turf Moor.

Burnley are now just two points from safety in the Premier League table, but Dyche is well aware that his players have a tough journey ahead of them if they want to stay in the top flight.

"While one win may kill the stories, the reality is you need more than one win in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports News. "We're under no illusions about the challenge that's in front, but it is very good to get that first win and get off and running on the winning trail.

"We're new to it, we're learning as we go. It's fair to say the challenge coming up is quite obvious. All the three promoted sides are down there fighting for their lives and that's what it's like, it's a very tough division."

Burnley continue their Premier League campaign on November 22 when they travel to Stoke City.
