Burnley boss Sean Dyche: 'Danny Ings not affected by transfer speculation'

Burnley boss Sean Dyche insists that Danny Ings has not been affected by the recent speculation surrounding his future.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes that Danny Ings is not showing any signs that he has been affected by the transfer speculation surrounding him.

The striker was heavily linked to Liverpool in the January window, and is reported to have held talks with La Liga side Real Sociedad in Spain earlier this week.

"There is no concern from me," Dyche told reporters in today's press conference. "I have said all along, his performances make it quite obvious he is enjoying his football.

"He looks relaxed. One of the biggest things I have said to him for the last two years I have been here, other than tactical pointers, is smile and enjoy your football and there's no reason why he shouldn't do that. That's when he's at his best I feel and I think he's doing that now."

Ings is Burnley's leading goalscorer with nine.
