Sean Dyche: 'Goal will do Danny Ings good'

Burnley boss Sean Dyche believes that Danny Ings's first Premier League goal will do the striker good.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes that Danny Ings's first Premier League goal will do him good.

The striker netted the equaliser against Everton on Sunday, before the Clarets eventually went down 3-1 at Turf Moor.

"It was fantastic for Ingsy, a very good finish," Dyche told Pendle Today.

"We know we want to play on the front foot, and we did. He's growing again, after a soft start to his season in the Premier League, and getting the injury, which I thought weirdly might do him good.

"He looks nice and sharp and he's got himself on the scoresheet."

Ings finished as Burnley's top scorer last season with 26 goals in all competitions.
