Bristol Rovers midfielder Oliver Norburn has admitted his 'delight' after signing a new one-year contract with the club.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Pirates from Leicester City last summer, made 37 appearances for the club last season.

"I am delighted. I am glad to have signed another year and be back in training. We have to train hard and take all our hard work in to the season," he told the club's official website.

"I am happy here and I want to kick on with this club and hopefully do well next season. The gaffer has given me a chance and hopefully I can take it this season."

Noburn had previously been linked with a number of Championship clubs.
