Bristol Rovers boss Mark McGhee has revealed that he wants to keep Fulham goalkeeper Neil Etheridge at the club until Christmas.

The 22-year-old stopper has impressed since joining from the Premier League club on an initial one-month loan deal.

He had been expected to move back to the Cottagers in November, but McGhee wants to extend the spell.

"His one-month loan spell from Fulham will be extended and he will be with us until Christmas," McGhee told Sky Sports News.

Etheridge has yet to make his first-team debut for the Cottagers.
