John Ward's side will be keen to make amends for last Saturday's 4-0 defeat away at Hartlepool United, their heaviest loss since he arrived at the club.

Southend striker Barry Corr starts a three-match ban after his red card in last week's draw with Bury, while defender Luke Prosser returns from a calf injury after coming through a midweek reserves game, making the bench.
