Brentford confirm Nick Proschwitz departure

Nick Proschwitz agrees to return to SC Paderborn once his contract with Brentford expires at the end of the month.

Brentford have revealed that Nick Proschwitz will leave Griffin Park at the end of the month.

The 28-year-old has agreed a move to SC Paderborn, whom he played for during the 2011-12 campaign prior to his move to Hull City.

Proschwitz joined the Bees on a one-year deal last summer and scored two goals during his 20 appearances in all competitions.

However, towards the end of the season he struggled for starting opportunities, which resulted in him being loaned out to Coventry City in League One.

The striker has agreed a two-year contract with Paderborn.
