Willian plays down injury fears

Brazil forward Willian allays fears over his fitness by stating that he is "feeling great" ahead of Tuesday's clash with Germany.

Willian has played down fears over his fitness ahead of Brazil's World Cup semi-final encounter with Germany on Tuesday night.

The Chelsea ace left training early on Saturday after suffering a back injury, prompting fears over his participation in Belo Horizonte.

Willian has been tipped to replace the injured Neymar in Luiz Felipe Scolari's starting lineup against Germany, and the player himself insists that he is "feeling great" physically.

"I am feeling great. I was hurt on my left side in training yesterday and it bothers me a bit but it is nothing significant and it won't stop me training today," he told reporters.

Tuesday's clash with Die Mannschaft kicks off at 9pm.
