Bournemouth: Eddie Howe ignoring favourable results ahead of Bolton Wanderers clash

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says that the prospect of effectively sealing promotion to the top flight has not changed his preparation for the visit of Bolton Wanderers.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has insisted that yesterday's favourable results have made no difference to his side's preparation for their penultimate game of the Championship season tomorrow night.

Following Middlesbrough's defeat to Fulham and Norwich City's draw at Rotherham United, Howe's Cherries will effectively seal their first ever promotion to the Premier League if they beat Bolton Wanderers as they will go three points clear of third-placed Boro and have by far the better goal difference.

A win would also move Bournemouth within a point of leaders Watford, who won promotion yesterday, going into the final day of the season next Saturday.

Speaking to the Daily Echo, Howe said: "All we can do is concentrate and prepare for our game which promises to be a tough encounter against Bolton.

"Other results make no difference whatsoever because our aim is always to try to win every game.

"Bolton are a strong side and have a very good squad. They have a vastly experienced manager in Neil Lennon who I have the utmost respect for."

Two of Bournemouth's players were named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year earlier today, but one of those, right-back Simon Francis, is suspended for Bolton's visit.
