Bournemouth's Artur Boruc: 'Whole team to blame for Tottenham Hotspur defeat'

Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc looks to distribute the blame following his side's thrashing against Tottenham Hotspur, despite being at fault for three of the goals.

Artur Boruc has refused to take the blame for Bournemouth's heavy home defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Poland international was arguably at fault for three of Spurs' goals in the 5-1 thrashing at the Goldsands Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Boruc has instead looked to distribute the blame elsewhere, however, claiming that a lot of work needs to be done on the training ground to rectify recent errors.

"Some people say that they were my fault but that isn't how it is," the Daily Star quotes him as saying. "As a football club we need to take our arses back to the training ground and work hard on some of the things we need to do. I will get down to the training ground and try and prove myself. I have nothing more to say."

Bournemouth, now just two points above the relegation zone, head to Anfield in midweek for a League Cup tie against Liverpool.
