Patrick Herrmann: Borussia Monchengladbach "well worth" win

Patrick Herrmann believes that Borussia Monchengladbach well and truly deserved to beat Stuttgart.

Borussia Monchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann has insisted that his side deserved the three points they claimed in the 2-0 win away to Stuttgart on Friday night.

Herrmann said that Gladbach, who have now won four in a row in the Bundesliga, did not get going straight away but once they did were worthy of the victory.

"We took a while to get into the match, Stuttgart were keeping it very tight," he told Bundesliga.com. "But we gradually improved and were well worth the win come the finish.

"Raffael put in a really great run to get on the end of my pass and hammer us in front. We've upped the level of our game and we're creating more chances than last season.

"We've three more home games before the winter break and we've been doing really well there. If we keep playing the way we are, we'll certainly pick up a few more points."

Despite the win, Gladbach remained fourth in the Bundesliga.
