Thomas Tuchel to replace Jurgen Klopp at Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund announce that Thomas Tuchel will become their new manager next season, replacing the outgoing Jurgen Klopp.

Borussia Dortmund have named former Mainz boss Thomas Tuchel as Jurgen Klopp's successor in charge of the Bundesliga outfit.

It was announced earlier this week that Klopp, 47, would be leaving the club after seven years at the helm.

Klopp guided BVB to six major honours, including two Bundesliga titles, but has endured a disappointing season, with the club eighth in the table and 37 points behind leaders Bayern Munich.

Dortmund have turned to Tuchel, 41, who has been out of work since leaving Mainz last May.

He has agreed a three-year contract with BVB until the end of the 2017-18 season, and will be officially introduced soon after the end of the current campaign.
