Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is pleased with how his three new signings have settled in at the club.

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has admitted that the club's summer recruits have impressed him in their early pre-season playing time.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all played in Saturday's 4-1 friendly win against Bursaspor, and Klopp is pleased with how each new signing performed in their respective areas.

"Our pressing was really good," Bundesliga.com quotes Klopp as saying. "The game showed what we're capable of.

"Aubameyang makes things happen up front, Mkhitaryan conjures up creative moments - and Sokratis exudes tremendous confidence at the back."

Dortmund finished as runners-up to Bayern Munich last season in the Bundesliga.

If Rodgers has a spare £22m, then Shakthar striker Henrikh Mkhitaryan could well be on his wishlist.
