A 90th-minute Benoit Tremoulinas goal has earned Bordeaux a 2-2 draw against AS Nancy.
Bakaye Traore had the game's first chance for Nancy but his header struck the woodwork from close range.
Nancy's early threat seemed to awaken Bordeaux and the away side took the lead in the 17th minute when Yoan Gouffran slotted home following good work from Ludovic Sane.
Neither side failed to create any further clear chances in the first period and Bordeaux seemed comfortable in possession.
However, just moments into the second half Nancy were level as Traore made up for his earlier miss with an accurate header after finding space in a congested penalty box.
Lossemy Karaboue could have put the home side ahead with 20 minutes left but he failed to make good contact when put through by Traore.
It was Nancy who found a goal in the 72nd minute as defender Sebastien Puygrenier poked his shot home from close range.
However, there was to be a late twist as Tremoulinas converted a penalty following a hand ball from Andre Luiz.
