Guillaume Hoarau in line to face former club Paris Saint-Germain

Bordeaux manager Francis Gillot says that Guillaume Hoarau could face his former club Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

Guillaume Hoarau is ready to face his former club Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday, but only from the bench.

The striker, who spent four years at PSG before leaving in 2012, joined Bordeaux on a short-term deal earlier this month and could do battle with this old employers when they meet in the quarter-finals of the competition tonight.

"Guillaume is preparing but he can't last an hour and a half," Bordeaux manager Francis Gillot said in his press conference.

"I have asked him if he could start and he said no. We will need to wait a fortnight. Other players can step in and it's up to them to do as well as possible."

The match gets underway at the Stade Chaban-Delmas at 8pm.
