Team News: Nikola Zigic handed start for Birmingham City

Striker Nikola Zigic is recalled to the starting lineup for Birmingham City's crucial Championship fixture at Bolton Wanderers.

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has handed a recall to striker Nikola Zigic for the club's huge Championship clash at Bolton Wanderers.

The Blues will suffer relegation to the third tier of English football if they lose at the Reebok Stadium, while a draw would require Doncaster Rovers to lose at Leicester City to ensure safety.

Zigic, who has scored seven times for Birmingham this season, has been preferred to Federico Macheda.

Bolton boss Dougie Freedman has made just one alteration to the team that won at Sheffield Wednesday in their last fixture, with Andy Lonergan being handed a start in goal in place of Adam Bogdan.

Bolton: Lonergan; Mills, Ream, Threlkeld, Wheater; Spearing, Trotter, Hall, Danns, Lee; Beckford

Birmingham: Randolph; Spector, Mullins, Robinson, Reilly; Huws, Adeyemi, Caddis; Burke, Zigic, Novak
