Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has confirmed that the club will speak to Liverpool soon over a second loan move for midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.
The 20-year-old, who spent two months with the Championship side at the end of 2011, was called back to Anfield in November following Lucas Leiva's serious knee injury.
"I will be ringing Liverpool and I'll be asking about his availability," Holloway told reporters.
"We didn't want Jonjo to go back. As far as I'm concerned, we'll have to ask Liverpool very nicely to get him back.
"It will be Liverpool's choice if he comes back or not as he is their player."
Shelvey scored six times in 10 games for the Seasiders during his previous spell at Bloomfield Road.
