Blackpool manager Paul Ince rules Gary Taylor-Fletcher out for a minimum of six weeks with a torn hamstring.

Blackpool manager Paul Ince has revealed that Gary Taylor-Fletcher will be out for a minimum of six weeks because of a torn hamstring.

The 31-year-old forward was injured during Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Birmingham City.

Ince told BBC Radio Lancashire: "When he came off at half time, it looked quite innocuous. Then I get in this morning and he's out for six to eight weeks.

"It's another body blow for us. He can play all over the park and he's great with the lads. To lose a major figure like him at this stage of the season is a major disappointment."

Ince admits that he may be forced to look into the loan market to find a short-term replacement for Taylor-Fletcher.

He added: "We may need to look at that area again, but there's not much about."

Taylor-Fletcher has made 32 appearances for the Tangerines this season, scoring four goals.
