Blackburn risk losing a number of key players if Christopher Samba is granted his desired move away from the club.

Blackburn Rovers face losing several key players should they allow Christoper Samba to leave the club this transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

The giant centre half has made no secret of his desire to leave Ewood Park this month, citing broken promises from the club's owners.

Samba has been linked heavily with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers, with the latter reportedly having a £5m bid for his services rejected.

Despite the stubborn stance of the club, who are determined to hold onto their captain, Samba is still hopeful of a January switch and should his wish be granted, he could be followed by some of Rovers' other star names.

Both Scott Dann and Junior Hoilett have been linked with moves away from Lancashire and rumours suggest they would be ready to leave should Samba exit the club.
